Rolex Submariner 116610LN STOLEN from Kaki Bukit, Singapore

Update 15/3 @1800hrs: A journalist from a local mandarin paper has contacted me to do an interview about the saga and the article will be published tmr. I hope this unfortunate experience of mine will help deter and spread awareness in any/every way possible. Update: I took a SS of his account before it got suspended so likely he is working or staying at Kaki Bukit MRT area. I've added a photo of his ad for reference. He is an Indian (likely local) standing between 175-180cm. Slim guy and likely below 30 years in age. Dear all, my watch has been swapped and stolen by a carousell user by the name of 'karthik 18 karthik 18 karthikzwgheks'. It is a Rolex Submariner 116610LN. Long story short, this was how it happened: He was standing on my right at first and moved to my left requesting to see the serial number and warranty card. After that he walked past my back to my right and kept the watch into the box in front of me saying he will be back later. He immediately left and i took the lift back home. I felt a litttle uneasy and checked my watch immediately when i got home. It was then that I realised that my watch has been swapped when I checked against the serial number on my warranty card. Throughout, I was standing right next to him (at most 15cm apart) and the only time he left my sight was he walked past my back to my right to 'return' me the watch in the box. A police report has been made. Pls do let me know if you've come across this watch. Would appreciate if this post can be shared to prevent the next person to fall victim. Thank you.
